Review on πŸ”₯ USB Rechargeable Electric Candle Lighter with Long Flexible Design and Windproof Feature – Ideal for Candles, Grilling, Camping, Kitchen, and Stove by Jason Jirsa

Use a regular long lighter instead. With large candles, this does not work in the long run.

So I liked it immediately when I received it. It didn't take long to light the candles and you could just flip them over and light them up very quickly. I had a small candle at the time and it worked fine. However, after that candle went out, I got one of the big Yankee candles. This is where the problem started, which is a problem because I used it specifically for Yankee Candles. The wick is about the size of the end of the lighter, meaning it will touch the wick as it lights the candle. This eventually caused the lighter to accumulate dirt and become unusable. The lighter is built to generate electricity between two nodes (if the terminology is correct) and it can no longer generate electricity between two nodes because one of them is so covered with debris that it does nothing. Right now the only way I manage to light something is to light the shit and then light a candle. Then you need to put out the fire with a lighter. Another thing is that battery life is meaningless. I will charge it fully and try to light it up and then it will turn off. Then I have to recharge my almost fully charged lighter before I can use it. If it's plugged in, that means it's already almost fully charged (so it didn't just lose all of its power trying to light a candle). In my opinion, it's better to just buy a regular long lighter and swap them out. when they run out instead of getting that battery because you'll probably need to replace it anyway.
