Bought to replace the posts in my son's play tent. I should have checked the measurements more carefully as I thought the packaging would take up the whole tent, but it only fit one side. I bought the 2nd pack to fix the whole tent. Some people have complained that the bars are difficult to cut or split, I used an electric multi tool and had no problems with it. There is also a second rubber stopper to cover the cut end, so I didn't find it necessary to flatten the cut end, just put the stopper on and you're done. The poles are much stronger than the original poles that came with the tent.
