I'm a plumber and I use these bits a lot! These are great exercises! The only reason I didn't give it a five is that they tend to ruin the wood if the hole is drilled close to the edge. But drill bits can have this tendency, especially when compared to self-propelled drill bits, which are more expensive but cut cleaner holes and break when striking a nail. The beauty of Bosch Daredevil auger bits is that they pierce and cut through nails quickly. Now I have 8 different sizes and I love them! You just can't drill near the edge or the wood will splinter and get completely burned. But if you drill more in the middle of 2"X 4" or a little more, they work great. Even long chisels, even 1 3/8 inches, will go through an 8 inch beam. You are really impressive! Larger and longer bits require power, so use a Super Hawg or similar tool when drilling.
