This knife has been in my basket "for later" for over a year. I was just sooooo skeptical about this knife. I hate wasting money on useless things and I was afraid this knife would fall into that category. Well I'm tired of cutting cold hard cheddar cheese with very sharp regular knives. My wrists hurt and my palms hurt. Well, now that I've finally bought and tried this darn thing, I wish I hadn't done it sooner! It goes down in a straight line, I just have to push it a little. But once you start gently squeezing, it slices and feels like you're slicing butter. It's still very amazing when I use it, I just can't get used to cutting cheese so easily. I tried thin slices of my very spicy cheddar (cold) and it was very easy to make too. I sliced them so thin that I cooked cheese sandwiches in a pan and successfully melted the cheese in 2-3 minutes. This knife is not only suitable for cheese, but also for ice cream cakes! Ice cream cakes are also on my "I don't like to cut" list and I tried this knife on it, it worked so well. He cut the cake clean and smooth. And now. This knife is really just perfect, I cannot praise it.
