We needed a way to hang the plants in our patio garden. The canopy frame we purchased this year did not have the hanging loop for plants that our previous canopy had. So my husband came up with the idea of using a heavy duty black chain to accomplish what we wanted to do. As you can see from the photos we used the long section of chain to hang them from strong hooks we attached to our garage overhang and we used the smaller modification pieces to attach them to the corners of the canopy frame. We wrapped the chain around the dome frame and secured it with reusable nylon ties. The chain is really strong and easily holds our rather heavy hanging plants.
