Review on Pop Lock PL3400C Chrome Tailgate by Jerry Leon

I really like this lock. It's a bit pricey, but you pay for the quality and the personal touch. It feels solid, and it feels like the plastic on the tailgate latch will snap before the latch does. I think this will be more than enough for my needs. I didn't bother to use tape as it fits very well. I just lifted the latch handle, wiggled the lock at the bottom, and it clicked into place. It couldn't be much easier. It doesn't look like it will fall out during normal use, but if it did I would use the glue that came with it. I have a small complaint that doesn't deserve a star. The key slot is at an angle of approximately 15 degrees square. It's not straight or flat in any of its fixed positions. It's completely cosmetic but doesn't look like a standard lock. Good technique in every respect. I would highly recommend this lock to all 2003-2008 Dodge Ram 1500 owners.
