lock of decent quality. It won't stop a thief, but there's no such lock. Keeps curious people out of the back of your truck. Easy installation. Takes up most of the tailgate handle but still didn't bother.

Works as well as the last one I bought on another car. A little tricky to install if you don't have a removable inside gate panel that both cars have. The adhesive is very strong and the ear tips hold the device securely in place.

It's nice to have a lockable tailgate with a new folding trunk that doesn't lock. Installation was difficult, even with workarounds. I removed the rear tailgate panel (with power it only takes a minute) and fitted it first before removing the 3M tape. I'm glad I did. I had to adjust my ears a bit to get some clearance.
