Do yourself a favor and use wire cutters to remove the wires that should give you mango slices in the end. They just make it almost impossible to get a fruit without turning it into a pulp. They also require you to press hard enough that I could see someone injuring themselves with it. The serrated and wire-free side works well and is an improvement over my old knife and spoon mango technique, albeit with a little more wasted fruit.
