My mom was happy! suitable for graters, peelers and slicers

My mother loves mangoes. I showed her how to properly cut with a knife, but every time she claims she forgets. I saw this on her wish list and gave it to her for Christmas. She was very excited!

Pros
  • Complete set
Cons
  • For old people

His family really enjoyed receiving and using this product

Gifted this to my brother's family in California where mangoes are popular year round. His family really enjoyed receiving and using this product. And it was fun to give the family something interesting!

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Mediocre at best. Mango seeds are difficult to handle.

the tool is just right. Because the mango pit is oddly shaped, it's difficult to cut the fruit exactly where the fruit is most. If the fruit is ripe enough, the ripening can easily cut through the skin and create an even bigger mess than if you just peeled the mango.

Pros
  • acceptable
Cons
  • there are nuances

Not good. - Mandolins and slicers

The part that slices a usable mango from the pit works great as it has a jagged edge (not sharp enough to worry about) The other part ( semicircular) ends ) it should cut the fruit from the peel and at the same time cut it into strips. This part does not seem to be sharpened at all and therefore tears the fruit, leaving a not very attractive pulp. I sharpened the edge and it works much better.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

albeit with a little more wasted fruit.

Do yourself a favor and use wire cutters to remove the wires that should give you mango slices in the end. They just make it almost impossible to get a fruit without turning it into a pulp. They also require you to press hard enough that I could see someone injuring themselves with it. The serrated and wire-free side works well and is an improvement over my old knife and spoon mango technique, albeit with a little more wasted fruit.

Pros
  • Solid Finish
Cons
  • Damaged
