I highly recommend checking out and/or exchanging these items as they are cheap.
This did not solve my problem but did not cause any other problems. Installation was easy. My problem was that the low pressure switch o-ring and the Schrader valve next to it were leaking. If you are fixing the A/C yourself I highly recommend checking and/or replacing these parts as they are cheap and easy compared to replacing the entire A/C.
