Glad I spent some time checking this out. On my first try, there was a slow leak from the female quick connector. unplugged it and vented my PCP without it. I got a replacement female adapter only to realize I was wrong. So I looked inside the woman and could barely see anything that looked out of place so I figured the o-ring was bad. After trying a bit different things I was able to get the O-ring out. I found that there were two O-rings in the adapter. When you order this filter, they supply replacement parts, so maybe one of them got there when they shipped it, or maybe they screwed it up when they assembled it. Anyway, with an additional O-ring everything worked perfectly. I can't vouch for how effective it is at removing water because I just primed my PCP and ran about 30 pumps, mostly because I bought a 2ft hose to add to the short hose on my pump. Well it just meant I had to pump many times before the pressure got high enough to add air to the reservoir. But everything looks good and the finishes are really good. I'm glad I bought it because I've seen posts where what you add to this pump doesn't work that well. They have a lot of filters and waterlocks so I think you'll probably be fine even if you use it a lot.
