Very close to the body, making them almost identical to the original fabric. Once you put them on, they're not going anywhere. I can't confirm how long they will last but the last set I had was replaced after about 4 years. I wanted to leave a review so people doubting whether or not to take it can get an answer to this question. For this price you will not regret the purchase. I put them on the big seat in the Acadia and they fit very well. I believe they will work like a charm in almost any truck. I'm considering getting a kit for my Avalanche.
