Pretty much everything I love about him. But the only thing I didn't do was break the terms of the deal.

I really wanted to love this hub, I hate even snapping with a star but it didn't suit me in the end. First, what I liked: the feel, the quality and the material. It feels like it could be an Apple product. It *looks* amazing and I love that it matches my 2020 13" MacBook Pro in Space Gray perfectly. The ports were perfectly placed and thoughtfully designed, making it very easy to connect my USB-B cables ( clock, iPad Air and external microphone.) Thanks to the recent increase in working from home, I bought it mainly to use as a dock for my laptop when I'm at my desk, although I liked it to take with me when the journey starts again. Day after day, my Macbook takes up a vertical stand on my desk, with an attached hub that connects the external display, iPad (sidecar), and peripherals. My only problem (and a deal Breaker) is that the hub has disconnected my power button. And if I had to remove the cable connected to the hub, it would be impossible to keep the hub connected to the MacBook. I have a lot lying around played to ensure the hub was fully connected, but it never felt stable enough. That's what I expected if I use it a lot on the go. But since it basically serves as a docking station for poor women, constantly moving the hub is annoying. Also, because the hub requires both USB-C ports to be used, it's time-consuming and frustrating to line up both ports for connection without paying attention to the connection. Either invest in a real docking station or look into a wired hub from Satechi. This didn't work for me.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to it
Cons
  • Can hurt
