I used several USB-C adapters: VGA, HDMI, USB, etc. to connect my MacBook Pro to X. So far this thing just works! I've easily connected multiple TVs and projectors using the Ethernet, USB 3.0, and USB-C (powered) ports. This is the most cable adapter I've bought, so all other USB-C devices go in my "spares" box. There have been comments about this device that "could/may interfere with wifi" but I haven't come across it at all.
