Review on 🔨 Anvil - ANVScle LRG Large Scale by Jen Smith

The size and quality seems good, but I understand there is a major issue with the LCD screen. The problem is that it has a very narrow viewing angle. You must place the LCD block in odd positions to see data. The first photo is viewed from about 30° above the device. The LCD display is sharp and bright. 2nd photo is level and parallel to the device. Looking at lower angles the numbers disappear until the 3rd photo is read just below the level. Considering the money paid and the brand involved, I'm surprised at how poorly executed this scale is. I have a lot of great Blichmann brewing equipment and this product is said to have been designed by homebrewing legend John Palmer. This isn't her best work. Unfortunately I threw away the packaging and cannot return it.
