Packaging: The filament was wrapped in a silica gel bag but with much thinner shrink wrap than I did. I'm used to seeing with PLA, ABS and TPU filaments that I usually use. I made my first print with this filament within 20 minutes of opening the shrink wrap and noticed obvious signs of hydrolysis (molten filament bubbles and squirts rapidly from the hot end even when the extruder motor is not spinning). Adhesion: Have only used masking tape with this PETG so far and it works well. I usually print with polyesterimide, but I've read that PETG adheres too well to polyesterimide, so I was afraid to try this combination. I noticed the hydrolysis problem above (a little bubbly but still work for my purposes). Even with the extra moisture in the filament, the prints are really strong compared to PLA. Even though I was strong, I had to print at 100% infill to get enough strength on the 10mm threaded part. I'm hoping to get a higher quality and firmness after a day in the dehydrator.
