The tweezers can only be adjusted if they are bent. The scissors are very coarse, they do not cut straight and have no sharp edges. They're roughly ground so they just don't run true. The black coating is too thick and fills the clamp screw so you can't adjust it. A flat tool is the only thing of value because you can't ruin it.
