I think 99% of the kit will fit your Ford Explorer or similar vehicle. What I had to do was buy a cutter ($30) from Harbor Freight and trim the two front T-bolts both lengthwise and widthwise to fit the front holes under the Ford Explorer. It could probably work as well by installing some screws with heavy duty toggle switches. The instructions that came with the mount were absolutely pathetic. 1) you incorrectly explain how to remove the rocker panel from a 2017 Ford Explorer, there is a plastic screw under the rear wheel bar that holds it in place 2) the instructions omit many steps that are important for installation 3) the photos provided are dreadful. Revain and Westin claim these kits will fit my car, but that's not really true. Overall I'm happy with the product, it's well made, well put together but definitely lacking in the areas mentioned. I want a refund for all the tools and gadgets I bought while wearing this thing.
