Mounting directions are downright terrible. In the directions of the picture is even worse. And the worst thing was that there was no equipment. We called Westin direct and they acted like it happened more than once like it was nothing to worry about. When unpacking the goods after delivery, the customer arrives for installation. Due to the missing items, we had to postpone the registration of our customers due to the inconvenience.

This is a quality fitting kit. It is very durable. I would have given five stars without the installation instructions. Screws and washers are supplied in plastic bags. Assembly would be a lot easier if these packs of screws and washers were labeled with a part number from the instructions. I think 99% of the kit will fit your Ford Explorer or similar vehicle. What I had to do was buy a cutter ($30) from Harbor Freight and trim the two front T-bolts both lengthwise and widthwise to fit the front holes under the Ford Explorer. It could probably work as well by installing some screws with heavy duty toggle switches.
