Doesn't protect against rain or keep your cargo dry. I bought this item specifically for my annual hike last weekend. I packed everything and closed the bag. This isn't rocket science. We survived a bit of rain and everything in this bag was wet with a puddle at the bottom. Amazon calls it "rain cover to keep cargo dry, clean and protected". My load was not dry, clean or protected. To my dismay I logged in this morning to arrange a refund and my refund expired yesterday. Much luck. I called ROLA to file a complaint and get a product defect guarantee. I waited over half an hour and the 'helpdesk' person said there was nothing they could do because ROLA says this product is not 'waterproof' and has no control over how Revain sells its products. The instructions for this bag actually say "This product is NOT WATERPROOF." I think you should have read the instructions for the bag. Do not buy this product as it will not keep your load dry despite the competition between Revain and Rola = waterproof vs waterproof. And to claim it's sheltered from the rain is a farce. False advertising, that's it.
