Matching. Since my original hands didn't fit, I used the ones that came with it. A little less, but it works. Works a little faster. About a minute a week. Reset for a few minutes every three weeks. Overall a good move. Very quiet. Update Date: Since my last check, the engine is running slow. Changed battery and cleaned contacts with sandpaper. I waited a week and the same thing happened. It seems slow. Slowly for seven and a half minutes. Changed the battery again. Two days later and it's running slow. It's cheaper to buy a new watch, but the bezel is one of my favorites.
