"The default IP address for the DWL-900AP+ is 192.168.0.50 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. You must assign a static IP address in the same range as the DWLAP+ IP address." These instructions appear on the front page of D-Link's ridiculously titled Quick Install Guide. If you intuitively understand what you need to do to comply with this policy, you may be able to run this product. If not, forget to get help from technical support. The response time for questions sent via email is 24 hours, but you need at least two attempts to understand your question. Wait times for phone support are almost the same, and the techs I finally got through with didn't even know the basics of the product, let alone its issues! If your network router is also non-D-Link, using the DWL-900+ Configuration Utility may be difficult. This requires you to change your computer's IP address twice to a static address compatible with the product and then back to the address required for your network. Not difficult but really frustrating as you have to restart your computer for each change. There just has to be an easier way to connect to a wireless network! Keep searching!
