It seemed intimidating at first, but one day I saw a video on the internet of the manufacturer and understood how to use it (I make my own blinds) it was clear as day and I got great results straight away. It could be muntin bars to join the shutters, ideal positions, foolproof (use good clamps as they need to be pressed firmly onto the work piece , otherwise they'll slip off) I assume roughly strong of 4 panels of venetian blinds in a large picture window so the panels have to support the full weight of the center panels (hinged to the outer panels) without sagging.With 5 dowels it will probably be stronger than the original basswood and will not corrode leak.The instructions only called for two dowels, but w how should it be? Anyway, this product is easy to level, quick to use and gives great results every time I use it. Very happy with it. Which is good because it's not cheap. Well-folded and *beloved* Canadian leaf in a snap-on handle. It's a *light* bass relief made of anodized copper for the perfect small, discreet design and logo.
