Review on ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ Enhanced PLA 3D Printer Filament: Next-Level Additive Manufacturing Solution by Juan Lockwood

Really funny! in additive manufacturing

Well my 7 year old daughter thinks this should be 10 stars. :D If 4.5 was an option I would personally give it 4.5 - more on that later. First the thread is packed very nicely in a vacuum bag with 2 packets of desiccant. The packaging doesn't close, but I think that's normal with PLA. The spool is strong and well wound - I'm not afraid of snagging on the spool unlike some other low quality filament I've bought. I wish it had a side sticker with the legend of grams/meters remaining. The diameter seems consistent - my measurements are around 1.71-1.73, I had no problem feeding it even with my very terrible extruder. It prints well, with little to no tension. Also, each color appears to be printed with the same settings as the other colors. I've been printing at 210C, mostly with the standard CR10 settings. For the three wise skulls in the photo, I printed all parts at 70mm/s and 0.2mm layer height. Even at such a relatively high speed, the pressure was quite decent. So why not an unqualified 5 stars? I find the color changes too slow. Even in this relatively large font, there are only three colors. I understand that this is a difficult balance for manufacturers - too fast a color change and large prints have too many ribbons, too slow and small prints are mono. However, this thread is too slow in my opinion. You may have more options with different color change rates, so you can customize the color change to suit the project. Anyway, my seven year old now wants everything to be in the rainbow! And my teens seem to love it too! I hope to try something from Sunlu Silk Rainbow.
