I've used these mirrors before but the latter felt looser in the center that holds the mirror. I'll explain: The part that goes into the handlebars is fine, but I always secure it with a zip tie (I can do this because I use the ends of the bar and thread the zip tie through the exposed part of the mirror and then around the end of the rod). It's safe and no problem. I'm also aware that the end of the mirror is removable and I tightened it fully. That middle part (between the mirror and the part that fits into the steering wheel) seems to jump more than in the past. I made sure the rubber bushing is all the way around the mirror but it's still not stable. A mirror that bounces around doesn't look very good visually. I wonder if the quality control is going badly.
