When I first got this thermostat I was concerned because the packaging said 188°F and the thermostat itself says 87°C (which is 188°F). However, I installed it because previous commenters said it works in Saturn S-Series vehicles. It works great and the coolant temp (which shows on my ScanGuage) goes up to 195°F as advertised. Be careful opening it Be sure to save the cardboard cylinder that comes with the kit. This cardboard tube will be used to remove the old part and install the new thermostat into the housing. Richpin06a has a nice video on Youtube describing how to do it.
