The 1 click button finally bit me. It came to my front door and I had no idea where it came from. My roommate asked for a super simple tool kit that could be bought cheaply. I think I ordered it while scrolling. I have 6 full size toolboxes (yes standing), complete and literally the best tools in the line. But I didn't send it back. That's why I use a lot of tools. Even more than most professionals. I work as a general contractor, as well as a carpenter, gunsmith and housekeeper. Why would I recommend this set to anyone who won't necessarily miss $20? Because these tools are just under the normal tools in normal shops. I got probably 10-20 tool kits with cheap chinese junk. Like the kind that often won't even help you in an emergency. That's not it. I would describe them as the perfect set for homeowners. The steel in these tools is impressively hard, especially in the bit set. I broke, damaged or completely destroyed 6 screwdrivers in the month of April. The included bit set is higher quality and tougher than any other no name brand you will find. The hexes are a little less harsh than most of my others, but due to their construction, the hexes don't take too much damage. For a homeowner who assembles furniture, hangs things, maybe does a little appliance work, etc., you can't go wrong here. If you know what you're doing, you can even work as a mechanic for a while. Add a drill and a saw and you have incredible versatility. This kit is designed to cover as many bases as possible with as few parts as possible. For example, instead of including the metric and the SAE socket set, they include an odd SAE size, which will be the metric. I wish a lot of my more expensive tools had this (in some cases). The same with Allen keys. The kit does not include a 6mm allen key. total size. 1/4 inch is usually too big, but it includes a 6mm hex bit to replace it. If you can only have a tool or tool kit for twenty bucks, go for it - you won't regret it.
