The cover has only been worn for a week but feels sturdy on the outside and soft on the inside. Bought a case to protect our new RAV4 hybrid while we snowed in South Florida for 3 months during the winter. It keeps the morning dew that covered the car for the first month we've been here and the pollen/dirt/bird droppings off the car so I don't have to wipe or wash the car daily. It has rained heavily twice in the last week and the paint has kept the car from drying out. I expect the headlight color and plastic to remain strong along with the cover. We only drive the car every 2-4 days and I love seeing a sparkling clean car when I take the cover off. It takes me less than 10 minutes to install the cover and less than 5 minutes to remove it. Other people here say they bought the same cap and only have good things to say about it. I would warn that the machine must be dry. when the cover is mounted, and that the cover itself is not wet inside, so that a very humid atmosphere does not remain between the cover and the car.
