We used new blinds on our 10 year old vinyl shutters. A half gallon of new blinds will be more than enough for our 18 blinds. A liter of specialty cleaner uses a solution of 5 parts water to 1 part cleaner or 2 parts water to 1 part cleaner for heavily discolored blinds. Plan on 1 part water to 1 part detergent. Manufacturing is labor intensive. Cleaning and painting two coats of new shutters takes 1 1/2 hours plus the drying time of each shutter. Plan to remove the shutters from your home to make them easier to clean and restore. The instant results are great and the blinds look like they just came out of the box. But only time will tell how long the product lasts.
