Review on 🔌 Plugable USB C to DisplayPort Adapter - 6ft (1.8m) 4K@60Hz Cable by Darth Naubert

I was hesitant to get this as the seller's response in the Q&A said it doesn't work with G-Sync/VRR. TLDR: It works, or at least with my setup which is a Legion 5i with 10750H and 1660TI paired with a Legion Y25-25 1080p 240hz Freesync monitor (G-Sync tested). You need a USB-C port on your laptop or computer that supports Alt mode DisplayPort output over USB-C, which not all ports do. For example, the Nitro 5 with AMD 4600H doesn't have this feature, despite being a current gen and having a USB-C port. Not only does this work for my setup, I also have HDR enabled (specifically HDR400, if that's one worth) and overclocked to a full 240Hz. Loaded up some old games to actually hover around the 240Hz mark and really run it at the refresh rate. It's mostly Warcraft with settings between 200 and 240 fps, so it would hit the 240Hz limit at times and stay there, but it would ebb and flow on average. No issues, no tearing, no weird visual crap. I'll probably set it to 144Hz just because my system can't even push that on most AAA titles, but 240Hz works for me. Pros: * G-Sync / Freesync works. * Fairly reliable brand at a good price. They make a lot of hubs and other related gear so I figured they knew how to make (or get) that since it's in the same wheelhouse. I wasn't disappointed.* I was able to get it with same-day delivery, which is more about logistics than product quality, but I really wanted to see G-Sync in action.* Not flashy at all. Base black plastic/rubber on everything. Nothing shiny, nothing metallic, nothing that would draw attention to anything that should only recede into the background. Cons: * Sellers shoot themselves in the foot by turning away and become buyers in the Q&A section. It is better not to answer the question at all than to answer incorrectly.
