I bought this belt sander for woodworking/craft work. I can stick it in a workbench vise and operate it while hand-sharpening my craft. I like the little nose roller that allows you to grind tight and tight. I turned it on and worked for several hours without turning it off and it didn't slow down or overheat at all. It only has one speed, but that's more than enough. A minor downside is that it's difficult to unlatch to install sanding belts. Little problem. Otherwise I am very satisfied so far.
