Currently working on my 83 6.2l K20 Chevy. After removing the power steering pump, I found a small hole in the back of the reservoir. I could have soldered the hole, but since the pump itself was original and occasionally malfunctioned, I decided to replace it rather than rebuild it. Knowing that a new pump doesn't usually come with a pulley. I went to both local car dealerships to get a puller. Both magazine pullers were broken and in my opinion trying to get it to work would have caused more frustration than it was worth. So we go to Revain Prime and order a puller. In the last chapter of my life, I put food on the table and made a living by toiling. I have used and abused every known tool. I find OTC tools to be of high quality and they stand up to the rigors of a busy auto repair shop. Yes, they are moderately expensive for the average weekend wrench, and you can buy a cheaper tool. But will a cheaper tool survive abuse from your teenager or grandson? Of course, they won't tell you that your cheap tool broke, but they will let you know the next time you need it. So let's go back to the store to buy another cheap tool. If you could spend a few bucks more for a good quality instrument and avoid disappointment.
