Installed Ubiquiti in my hardware and it worked right away, no problem. I didn't need fiber or anything exotic, just had to connect the switch to my router and it worked fine. Unfortunately, the Ubiquiti material has some flaws that nullify the deal, and it's coming out. but it's a pity they don't work with the brands I'll be switching to as a replacement. But for now they worked great! Feels a bit crummy compared to the expensive gear, but I can get the performance right so it's all good for the cheap money.
