Works very well on site for drilling 3/8" and 1/4" holes for wedge anchors and taps. Also works well for 1/2" holes, slightly slower and less powerful than a mains powered punch (as you would of course expect) but portability and no need to pull a cord, or in my case no available power source. , more than makes up for the extra few seconds it can take per hole. I haven't tried anything more than 1/2 inch. Note: I was about to buy a small displacement brushless motor but noticed in its specs that the RPM and BPM were much lower, while the smaller size was attractive for the tool kit I carry with me, for that I felt like it wasn't going to be strong enough for my needs. So far, this puncher has been sufficient for the retailer.
