Review on Uyoyous 2000W Variable Transformer - 0-130V Output AC Voltage Converter – 20Amp Variable Voltage Autotransformer Regulator for Industrial Equipment and Appliances by Christopher Morgan

I was messing around with old tube gear and needed to upgrade my old Olson Variac. This device increased the current (from my old 5A 120V) to the full 20A 125V. Operation of the tension adjustment knob is smooth and activated the older Heathkit SB-200 with ease. My main goal was to gradually increase the voltage after the repair to make sure there were no problems. I like everything about the device, except for the analog counter. It's on the front of the device, below my line of sight, making the analog display difficult to read. In any case, I used a meter to read the voltage, but it would be useful to see the voltage ramp up. In fact I would have preferred a digital display which would have made the readings more accurate as the meter is quite small. The analog meter actually showed that I was "in the red" at 120V, so the accuracy of this function could be improved. Good value for money and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone with similar needs.
