This dongle is a multitasking engine. The HDMI output alone opens up a lot of room for productivity. I use it with my Samsung tablet in DeX mode and as you can see from the photo it does a great job of multitasking. The extra desktop real estate on my monitor for app windows frees up my tablet screen for a calculator when I need to work, or Netflix when I don't need to. The adapter easily serves as a compact docking station for tablets like we used for laptops. It also shares the same design language as the other products, so they blend well together if you have more than one of these on your desk. The value, keyboard, mouse, Being able to connect a printer and a large display to my tablet with a single connection cannot be underestimated. I can certainly use a wireless setup, but the convenience of only having one cable makes this setup workable. If I had to turn on every wireless device and pair the monitor with my tablet every time, I'd be better off working directly from the tablet. One thing I would have liked for this dongle was a PD power input to charge my tablet. while it is in use. Not a deal breaker as my tablet has good battery life but I would have preferred to have my tablet fully charged when taking it with me.
