I had to bend the ends to properly fit the headrests on my Giant Glory DH bike. It's quite difficult to bend the ends and I had to use a large wrench as leverage. However, they are easy to bend at the back if you need to make them smaller. Overall I was surprised at how easy it was to remove the headrests on my bike. I made sure the ends were the right diameter, and a few clicks and the cups were removed. Anyone who loves maintaining their bike should have one of these tools. You don't have to go to the store to take them off. Saves time and money. 5 Stars!
