Best in Kitchenware & Gadgets

I haven't had this scale long enough to know how durable it is, but I'm enjoying it. I have to keep track of the time and amount of food I eat and this makes my way of eating much easier. I can just keep putting things in the bowl or plate and swinging them back and forth. It even works to weigh out how much nut/seed butter or cream cheese etc I spread on bread or crackers. I can just pour what I really need: chips, nuts, peanuts or whatever rather than being limited by volume measurements. I've converted all of these things to grams in my tracker because it's a much more convenient unit of measure for this and that, and a lot of my packages only have grams/ounce measurements, assuming we know how many bean and rice chips are in ounces, of course are . (Of course we do.). No more throwing your entire bag in a bowl and counting. It's really liberating. The scale is really small and light so I have no problem finding a place for it - I just keep it on a handy shelf and then put it on the counter when I want to use it. It runs on battery and to turn it off just press the zero/off button and leave it alone, eventually it figured out you're done and turned itself off (it took me a while to figure it out have.). If you've never tried a kitchen scale, the price is right to see if it helps you.
