Does not work work with LG 38UC99-W monitor
Nice looking cable. Same thickness as the original LG cable that came with the monitor, but it does not work with a LG 38UC99-W 37.5" 21:9 WQHD monitor and a 2017 or 2018 Macbook Pro. The Macbook recognizes the cable and will provide power from the monitor to the Macbook, but it will not recognize the display from a video perspective. It also does not recognize any peripherals (webcam, mic) that are connected to the monitor. I was expecting this longer cable to work like the original LG cable as well as the product description, but it does not.If you are aware of an alternative solution, please share it.
