Review on Mainstay 33112 Slicer Stainless Steel by Leah Griffin

I love egg salad. My family loves egg salad. But I HATE it because it sucks to grate bunches of hard boiled gummy eggs. Instead, I use an egg slicer. I put an egg in it and cut it open, then hold it all together, rotate it 90 degrees and cut again. It makes long pieces that are very easy to toss in a bowl and mash into an egg salad. I had a high end slicer that decided it didn't like my egg free slicing experiment and we'll see what happens. It broke completely and I thought it would be a lot cheaper as I only cut soft balls here but I hesitated as this one was a lot cheaper and I thought maybe the metal strings were loose or loose. nope! Also good! And it washes well in the dishwasher so far, with no rust or other nasty things. Excellent purchase!
