I've been using it daily for more than three years now and unfortunately lately it's been having some quirks that can't be fixed by changing the battery. In the past I've had occasional issues similar to other reviewers and have always been able to resolve them with new batteries. With daily use for baking, cooking and dieting, I replaced the batteries every 8-10 months. Currently when I turn it on it says "unst" about half the time and won't tare. However, this is the most accurate, compact and reliable scale I have ever used, so I will be buying another, exactly the same one, as a spare. I would highly recommend this scale knowing the scale is not a KitchenAid, it is not a device that you invest a lot of money in and is expected to last you a lifetime.
