This scale is accurate enough for use in the kitchen. I use it in baking and baking sourdough bread and serving sourdough. I wish the stainless steel finish was more scratch resistant, but the overall functionality and price balance is more than adequate.

It seems to weigh things accurately, but if you weigh it down in batches (like tossing almonds in it) and then remove the whole bowl and put it back in, the weight never seems to be the same again like dropping. Being able to change and have other measurements is great as long as you don't step on the scale with what you weigh.

This scale meets the advertised specifications. Slim, thin, precise and easy to use. You can even change the measurement method when measurement is already in progress. I like that it's big enough to sit an entire plate on instead of a small round spot for cradling. It also came with its own battery. I literally pulled the test tab and turned it on. So easy.

I've had this scale for several years and it's easy to store, accurate and good looking. My main complaint, however, is that it eats batteries because it turns on every time you bump into it and it's almost impossible to turn it off without just giving it time (which takes a long time). A little annoying is the lack of a hard power switch or a smaller, recessed power button that's hard to press.
