Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ Watercolor Brush Pen Set of 18 Water-Drawing Pens with Velvet Bag – Ideal for Watercolor Painting, Markers, Solid or Powdered Pigments by Denise Davis

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Something satisfied. - Brush

Yes, that's a good deal. My experience is mixed. The biggest problem is the current. When filling at the recommended 2/3 (to allow for pressurized air) I had trouble delivering "water" when squeezed. Either not, or too much with some pressure. I had problems with 5 of the 18 pieces. Second, the nylon bristles retained their color with extensive cleaning with just water, which is not consistent with my experience of previous purchases from other vendors. When cleaned with soap, residue from the "watercolor" borders of the alternative use is still present. There were NO instructions or documents included so you need to know what you are dealing with and the fill rate (in the ad). I wouldn't recommend it for an experienced artist, but maybe for a beginner or intermediate.

Pros
  • Universal Watercolor Pen: Various types of water color pen help you complete a wonderful work of art, you can draw fine lines or paint large lines, mix colors and create new shades, a hollow plastic pen that can be filled with water for solid or powder pigments, for use with watercolor pencils, markers and watercolor pencils
Cons
  • fade

The water leaks out easily and the brush is to flimsy.
