For safety reasons, I wouldn't use ice on the first try.

I love Glacio's large ice cube trays. I just made this purchase so I couldn't see how durable they would be. They are definitely easy to use and definitely a gift. Wash and use after opening the package. I didn't use the first ice cream made in the Glacio ice cream bins in case there might have been leftovers from the production molds. Also, I could see how well the ice cube trays work. They work great! The second time I made ice cream, I actually used it. I am very happy with the Glacio ice trays, I can now drink the same glass of whiskey or bourbon with an ice cube at home. what I would have at one of my favorite restaurants or cigar lounges.
