The screws are broken! It's soft like butter.
Two screws broken! The first screw broke and I couldn't fix it. Move the lock and try again. I made sure I pre-drilled the hole deep and also widened it a bit. I slowly screwed it in by hand, but it still broke and can't recover! Found a few screws lying around the house, even 3 1/5 inch long and they had no problem. Warning everyone - save yourself the headache and get better screws or just return the whole thing. As for me, I hope the lock is better made than their screws. Now I have to patch all the damn holes!
