Bought this Camp Chef Explorer 2 Burner Flat Top for a hike with friends in Rock Creek. Revane Prime got this bad boy into my office just in time, and I can tell you this thing is powerful. The combination of this and a propane gas grill is the perfect combination. I could cook for 13 people in a fraction of the time it would take using individual pots, and the flat plate's versatility speaks for itself in my photos. I boiled eggs and bacon on one side and boiled water for instant coffee on the other side. Everyone kept asking me where I got the frying pan from and how it held up on the trip. The only reason I give it 4 stars out of 5 is the oil tray or lack thereof. It's a tiny metal holder for a beer can to get the grease on it, but somehow the grease got so hot because the can was so close to the pan that it exploded and got the grease on my sneakers. Luckily I was wearing thick jeans and it didn't burn me too much. I am considering getting another, more powerful grease trap for it before messing with this setup again. The pan itself is a 5. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves the quality and ease of cooking for large groups. Just make sure you find the best grease trap.
