The instructions only indicate how the scrap pairs fit together, but do not indicate the order or wiring standard used. I connected the white wires at the bottom of each pair and then ran the tester cable through to see that it used T-568A wiring standards. The cable I connected has a different transmit connector than 568B, hence the orange and green are swapped in my photo. Bottom to top, pins 5, 4, 3, 6, 1, 2, 7, 8. I canceled home phone service before I bothered to rewire my phone lines to this junction block, so I know not how well the RJ-31X interrupt works.
