I noticed a noticeable loss of acceleration at lower speeds with this intake. I felt like I gained a little at high rpm but lost at lower rpm. If you're concerned about getting enough cornering acceleration to get through traffic quickly and safely, this may not be the product for you. The difference is small, but you can feel it on the buttocks of the pants. If you look at the K&N website there is no dyno chart below 2600-2700 rpm and this is where I notice the difference. The skeptic in me says that omission was intentional. In contrast, the chart for my BMW 335i goes well below 2000. I remove the air intake and reinstall the stock air intake. I also found that the engine sound change was not to my liking. Now it sounds a bit like any other low powered cheap engine that has had such modifications done. Some extra noise (that doesn't sound good IMO), but nothing more. Of course I use BMW as a basis for the assessment.
