Installation went very well, all hardware included. The instructions are easy to understand and designed for several years. Installation took about 30 minutes, I have installed K&N products on most of my vehicles in the past, their products have always been top notch.

Installation took a little longer than stated in the instructions. It did add a bit of acceleration to my Kia though. Gasoline mileage increased by about a gallon in city driving. The advantage is driving on the highway. The car doesn't feel like it's struggling as much and gas mileage is 5mpg+ depending on speed. Pays off in the long run.

Very good fit. The intake noise is much better. At medium speed, I hear a gurgling noise and a full-throated howl on the ground. In travel mode, however, the air intake is silent. At full throttle it might be too loud for some (if you want a quiet engine), but I like hearing it. I've also experienced a slight increase in gas mileage of about 1mpg so far.

Fits 2014 Kia Soul and provides significantly better engine sound. There's also noticeably better pickup around 2000rpm. Below that it feels more sluggish than stock consumption. Gas mileage is about the same if you're not driving aggressively (29mpg or better). Of course you want this to deliver the best sound and that sounds fantastic for a 4 cylinder Kia. Driving aggressively, so you can hear the intake constantly, also means better gas mileage (about 24mpg on average).

I noticed a noticeable loss of acceleration at lower speeds with this intake. I felt like I gained a little at high rpm but lost at lower rpm. If you're concerned about getting enough cornering acceleration to get through traffic quickly and safely, this may not be the product for you. The difference is small, but you can feel it on the buttocks of the pants. If you look at the K&N website there is no dyno chart below 2600-2700 rpm and this is where I notice the difference.
