I have read many reviews on this product and other products of the same type here at Revain. Seems like a good way to buy more time on your front door If it doesn't hold up like a Fort Knox you must hear someone struggling with it This rod is strong once assembled The parts slide together easily and the rubber ends shine on both ends to sit snugly on the handle and bottom (the trick is adjusting, if you get the angle right it should work fine) a locking pin instead of a snap button etc. However in this set you get 2 bars for a reasonable price ene and they are well made of durable metal. You can also trim off the ends for the base and doorknob and add the caps provided to use in your sliding door track. I think that's what makes this set so valuable because it's versatile and easy to modify to fit both the door and the sliding door. I would consider a different set for some of the sliding doors that I need to replace with the doorstops I have for them.
